A quote to begin 💭

"To be passive is to let others decide for you. To be aggressive is to decide for others. To be assertive is to decide for yourself. And to trust that there is enough, that you are enough.

Climate Week | NYC Edition 🌱

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is making its way to midtown and Climate Week is taking over across the boroughs. Here’s our quick and simple preparedness list for the week ahead!

☑️ Map out your week thoughtfully. Find events here and pay attention to times, locations, ticketing and registration, price, and food options. If you’re not sure about events to attend, there is always the Nest Climate Campus at the Javits Center and Lu.ma’s Climate Cafe NYC. Of course, there is already our very chill CoSee connection event, Sustainable Market Makers at Pier 57 on Thursday September 25th.

☑️ Pack and dress for the day you’re going to have. Bring your reusable water bottle, reusable cup*, and your reusable bag. Stay hydrated and don’t forget to eat! Dress for your own comfort and confidence because the days are long and exhausting while also being inspiring, motivating, and action-driven.

☑️ Embrace buzzing connections. When people ask questions about who you are and what you do, make it snappy and when you meet someone you vibe with, have your contact info ready. Will you swap LinkedIn QRs? A stylish business card? Your website? Make a mental note and be ready to follow up when the week has ended and what’s left is the energy it brought.
