Getting Crafty | Where can your books go?  🙌

Out with the old and in with the pre-loved. New for you, old for someone else. As the northern hemisphere heads into winter, declutter your space and make room for cozy candles, books, blankets, and all that you need when hibernation hits. Here are some suggestions for where to send or where to find books:

  1. Donate or mail your books to new readers

    • Pickup Please takes small boxes of books, sells them, and donates the proceeds to charity.

    • Books sold on Better World Books to benefit non-profit literacy groups.

    • Reader to Reader donates books to underserved and under-resourced locations in the U.S.A.

  2. Give books away on Freecycle, Nextdoor, a local Facebook group, or Facebook Marketplace.

  3. Gift your books to friends or colleagues who would appreciate them.
